Landan is 3!
We celebrated his big day with lots of Spiderman! Landan's happiness and smile is infectious he keeps us all laughing. I can't believe he is 3 which means we will have lived here for 3 years! Crazy! I will have to get Aaron to post a video of his dance he does before he starts a Mario Kart Race it has us all rolling it's so funny! He is currently in love with Lego Star Wars the video game and tried to play with his new storm trooper helmet (for his bday from Grandma) on. It was deemed unsafe by Mom when he tripped on the controller cord for the third time. It looks pretty funny though! We are grateful for the craziness and laughter he brings to our family!
Sully wants to do it himself!
Well Sully really enjoyed his first time feeding himself his yogurt but Mom did not enjoy all the clean up. I wonder where all my kids get that stubborn streak??? Ha!Ha!
Happy Easter!
Well we survived another Sunday and thankfully it was a beautiful sunny Easter. Yesterday we woke up to about 4 inches of snow and we were on our way to Capitol Reef National Park for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. The kids hunted for eggs with snow boots on which seemed very wrong! I decided cooking for the holidays is not fun when there is no one else in the kitchen but you. It really made me miss my mom and mom in law and sisters. They are the only reason spending all day in the kitchen during the holidays is fun. Aaron and the kids were very appreciative of all my efforts but if Finley says she had "turkey" ham for Easter Sunday please just go with it she would be heartbroken if she knew the truth.

Sully is getting so big!
This is Sully pushing his grocery cart around. He is only 8 months old well almost 9 months and it's so sad that it is going by so fast. I know this is really it for babies for me (for real this time) and it is sad. Don't get me wrong I don't want another one (unless someone wants to write a million dollar check and get me a fabulous nanny to go along with them) but it is the end of an era. The Shaws Having Babies Era and now onto the Shaw Raising all these Kids Era. I will miss it since my last 8 years have been such a whirlwind of crazy baby having and baby raising I don't get a lot of time to reflect on all of it. As hard as it's been there isn't anything more magical or beautiful than having a baby growing inside of you and then having them placed in your arms knowing that Heavenly Father has now entrusted you with this wonderful little person. I won't miss the sleepless nights though Grandma and Grammie keep telling me they will still be sleepless just for different reasons. I'm really trying not to hold Sully back even though it's hard. He's trying so hard to keep up with his big brothers and sisters and is such a happy boy. We are blessed to have him even though we may not have really planned on having him. He lights up our whole family and I can't wait to see who he will become...
