I have incurred the wrath of Delaney because I did not post a picture of her with her beloved cats so here she is and now I am really done for the day.

Sully

And since all the little kids got a post today I thought I would put up a few new pics of Sully. He has got such a fun personality and is friendly with everybody (which is a nice change since Landan and Fin were both Mom Cling-ons and Delaney had her own personal force field which no one was allowed to enter.) He's crawling and pulling up so I'm sure it won't be long before we have another walker and talker. In the last of the pics he reminds me so much of Aaron it's crazy!

Landan's observation

Well I've gone back and forth about whether to post this or not but it was just really too funny so I have to. Landan was going #2 on the potty a couple of days ago and unfortunately he has poor bathroom manners because he really likes to see and talk about what he has done afterwards (I think it's a boy thing). So next thing I know he hops off the potty looks down at one big poop and one little poop and says "Hey Mom, look it's just like me and Dad!" Aaron and I had a big laugh over that one.....

"Pigs are friends not food!"

When Finley was 2, I read Charlotte's Web to all the kids before we went to see the movie and she was hooked. Well 2 pig birthday parties later she is more obsessed with pigs than ever. Well for those of you who haven't talked to Finley lately the first rule for people who love pigs is "Pigs are friends not food" (She also wanted to put that on a sign in front of the pork at the grocery store. As a wise mother I told her she might get in trouble for that.) Her life desire currently is to grow up to be a pig farmer where and I quote "Little Pigs get a chance to grow up with out ever worrying about being someone's dinner". Here are the rest of her rules.

Rule #2 You always let your pig enjoy the mud a dirty pig is a happy pig.

#3 If your pig is oinking oink with him.

#4 (and my personal favorite)Your pig must get good slop to truly be happy.

Because she got some good laughs when she announced her "piggy proclomation" which is what we have been calling it she has been thinking up many more of her pigisms. I'll keep you up to date on Finley's campaign to save the pigs! A word of warning it's wise not to mention anything about a fondness for bacon or pork chops in her presence...

Delaney's Song

I haven't updated lately because we have been at death's door over here. We have all been pretty sick. Delaney as you can imagine does not do things that are gross or in this case snotty and has been singing a song to Sully that cracks me up everytime!
I can't kiss you
because you've got an issue
you need a tissue!
She may not be able to deal with snot but she is a wonderful big sis and wise beyond her years.
